From Cannes, the film festival’s headquarters, there are good opportunities to visit several of the Riviera’s impressive and exclusive cities by train or car. Nice, Antibes and Monaco are all reachable within an hour by car. The French Riviera’s charm and beautiful surroundings have inspired great artists such as Matisse, Picasso and Chagall, and there is ample opportunity to see their works. The apartment is suitable all year round as a city break, as access to Nice, Antibes and Monaco is super easy by train.

About the apartment

The holiday home in Cannes La Bocca is a super nice penthouse apartment overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Esterel
Mountains. There is a large, west-facing terrace where you can enjoy the fantastic weather of the French Riviera. Just across the road is the sea and there is the possibility to walk into Cannes as well as to take the train, which is 600 m walk from the apartment complex. The apartment is suitable for a family of 4 with 2 beds in double bed and 2 beds in bunk bed. There is a swimming pool and other activities for both children and adults in the building where the apartment is located. A great choice if you want a beach holiday and culture in one. The apartment does not have a regular oven.

The trip from Nice airport takes about 30 minutes by car.

Possibility to take train 600 meters from the apartment.

The apartment has a garage, so there is parking available for cars. You have to climb some stairs to get from the underground car park to the apartment. Weakly walking people may have difficulty with this staircase.

Important information

Final cleaning is mandatory and is automatically selected when the accommodation is booked. It costs DKK 850. This includes linen for the double bed.

It is possible to purchase linen packages if you are more than two guests.

Linen package for single bed – 150 kr.

If you want extra linen packages, it must be selected when booking the accommodation. If you bring your own linen, this must be ticked off when booking.

Arrival : 17:00-22:00. The intercom rings us outside working hours, so it is not possible to check in later than 10 pm. When you know what time you expect to be at the accommodation, send an SMS on +45 93 86 21 67 with the expected time of arrival. If there are changes to the plan, this must also be reported by SMS.

Folgarida Mughetto

The mountains of northern Italy are something very special. In winter it is the perfect place for ski enthusiasts with access to both Madonna di Campiglio and Marilleva, and in summer the beautiful nature is definitely worth a visit. Here you can go on long hikes, river rafts or just enjoy nature.

The holiday home is centrally located in Folgarida with just a few minutes walk to the nearest ski lift that takes you to Marilleva. This ski area is connected to Madonna di Campiglio via ski lift, so you can therefore use both areas, which together have approx. 120 kilometers of piste.

IMPORTANT!

The ski season runs from week 50 – week 14. The weeks from autumn holidays until week 50, as well as the spring weeks from Easter until mid-May, are definitely low season, where most activity in the city shuts down completely. You can still book the accommodations if you want to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the silence.

Area

Folgarida is a small town in the Italian Dolomites. The city is located 31/2 hours from the airport of Milan and 11/2 hours from the airport of Bolzano. In the town of Folgarida there are 5 restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, but if you want a slightly larger selection, the town of Dimaro is 15 minutes away by car, and if you want to visit a larger city, the town of Trento is an hour’s drive from Folgarida.

The area around Folgarida is rich in activities both in summer and in winter. In winter, the most obvious is to make use of the many ski resorts, but in summer the area offers activities such as hiking, river rafting and mountain biking. The lifts, which in winter are used to transport skiers up to the slopes, are used in summer to transport people up the mountain where there is ample opportunity for mountain biking and great hiking, or you can enjoy the fantastic view, and the melted snow forms beautiful lakes in the area in the mountains.

About the apartment

Mughetto is furnished on two floors with room for 6 overnight guests. It has two bedrooms with four sleeping places in one, and two in the other. The home has an older kitchen with everything except dishwasher. We are looking at installing a new kitchen in the spring of 2023, after the ski season and Easter. On the first floor there is access to a large terrace with beautiful views, which is shared with the neighbor. Here you can sit and drink a cup of hot cocoa and watch the sun go down in the evening.

Bookings can only be made starting on Tuesdays or Saturdays, as otherwise we do not have the opportunity to clean the apartment. It is allowed to book from Saturday but arrive on Sunday for example.

Final cleaning costs 250 euros and includes linen and towels. It must be left in cash in the accommodation upon departure. If you want to clean yourself and bring linen and towels, this is possible. When booking, you must choose whether you want cleaning and linen or whether you want to do the cleaning and linen yourself.

Meledrio 1 is a small apartment that has been renovated and modernized. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and even a wine fridge. The apartment can accommodate three overnight guests. It has a single bedroom with a double bed, and a small sofa bed in the living room with room for one, but it is possible to bring an air mattress and set it up in the living room if you wish.

Baveno

Holidays at northern Italy’s great lakes have a very special aura around them, which many return to again and again. Here is magnificent nature, cozy towns with restaurants on the lake shore, and a very pleasant climate in the summer months

Baveno is one of the larger towns on Lake Maggiore and the apartment is only 1 km from the center and the harbor promenade.

Area

Baveno is located on Lake Maggiore and only 45 min from Milan Malpensa Airport. The area around Lake Maggiore is full of activities: the Val Grande National Park, just 10 km away, offers excellent opportunities for hiking and trekking, and is Italy’s largest wilderness area. There are also 4 golf courses in the area, of which the 18-hole Golf Club des Iles Borromees at Stresa / Baveno is recommended.

Of course, the lake itself also invites you to a number of activities, such as boat trips, water sports, diving and not least fishing – Fishing licenses can be purchased at the post offices. In addition, a visit to the Borromean Islands just off Baveno is a must, where the counts of the Borromeo family 400 years ago created their own little paradises.

About the apartment

The apartment has 2 large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen room. The two large rooms both have a double bed, and in addition there is a sofa bed in the living room, which can be used if you have children with you. There is a lake view from one of the two balconies, and the apartment appears bright and delicious.
