Penthouse on the Athens Riviera

The original meaning of Penthouse is house on top of the building – that’s exactly what we’re talking about here. On the other floors of the building there are two apartments, but at the top there is only one and you have the entire roof terrace to yourself, from which there is a view of the mountains and the beach.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from probably the best sandy beach in the area. The location has been carefully selected – close to Athens airport (about 20 km), close to Athens about 40 km, close to Marathon and Nea Makri. The town of Zoumperi is a small seaside resort with a few shops and a number of restaurants, some of which are only open in the summer. Nea Makri, located 2 km away, has many restaurants and shops open all year.

There are 2 roads along the coast – Poseidonos by the water and Marathonos behind the city. At Marathonos there are many supermarkets and all types of shops.

It is about 10 km to Rafina, where boats to the islands of the Aegean Sea (e.g. Naxos, Santorini and Mykenos) depart.

You do not need a car to spend your holiday here, as you can take a taxi from the airport and there are shops in the local area. If you need to buy bigger, you can take a taxi or bus, both modes of transport are cheap.

The apartment is a perfect starting point for exploring the Athens and Marathon area as well as starting point for trips to the islands.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor, which you have all to yourself. You enter a spacious entrance hall, from which there is access to all other rooms. To the right a nice marble bathroom with shower, straight ahead is the kitchen with dining area. This is followed by a bedroom and finally a living room with dining table and sofa bed.

The apartment of about 70 square meters is spacious for two people. There is also the possibility of an extra bed on the sofa bed for two people.

There is air conditioning in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge and freezer, as well as a dishwasher. There is a washing machine in the shed on the terrace.

Important information

Final cleaning is mandatory and costs 80 euros. They must be left in the accommodation in cash upon departure. This includes linen, towels and tea towels.

Parking: There are good opportunities for parking at the residence.
