The southern Costa Blanca is the warmest area on the European mainland in winter. There are about 340 sunny days and typically 20 degrees in winter in the middle of the day. There are beautiful sandy beaches, and you can swim almost all year round. Winter bathing with cold water, on the other hand, does not exist.

There are good opportunities for exercise with cycling and nice walks along the water. Prices at the restaurants are generally very low, so you can enjoy a 3-course dinner for 10-12 euros including 1/2 bottle of wine.

Area

There are 5 golf courses in the area, and one of Europe’s most beautiful outdoor shopping centers Zenia Boulevard is within walking distance of the apartment in Los Dolses.

Culturally, there is a lot to see within 1 hour’s drive. You can visit Murcia, Cartagena, Alicante and Elche, among others. Elche is the city in Europe with the most palm trees. A perfect area for life lovers, where the prices are also very reasonable. Alicante Airport is also just a 45-minute drive from La Zenia.

About the apartment

The apartment in the Los Dolseses district, in La Zenia, has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy a refreshing drink on the wide private roof terrace, which is about 75 sqm. Here there is ample opportunity to enjoy the many sunny days. The area is wonderful, relaxing, and definitely something for the whole family to enjoy. If you have small children, there is a high chair in the apartment.

To arrive at La Zenia from Alicante Airport, we recommend booking a taxi or renting a car. It will make your stay in Spain much easier.

Vence

The apartment is suitable for city breaks in Nice and Vence. It is a 20-minute walk into the centre of Vence, where the city wall forms the framework of the old town. It is a charming and historic place where Henri Matisse’s main work, in the form of a mosaic, adorns la Chapelle du Rosaire de Vence. It is only 20 min. by bus from Nice airport and Nice city center. In this holiday apartment, there is ample opportunity for city break all year round and lovely sun holiday.

About the apartment

The holiday home in Vence is located in a quiet holiday home area with access to a swimming pool. The holiday home is divided up
on 2 floors, with a small kitchen room and bathroom on the ground floor and bedrooms on the 1st floor. The holiday home stands
sharp and newly renovated, with associated large terrace where you can enjoy the good weather. The apartment has 3 rooms: 1 with double bed, and two very small rooms with 2 single beds in each. In addition, the sofa bed in the living room can be made for 2 children. However, we recommend that you are a maximum of 6 people in the home, as space is already tight in the common areas.

The apartment is not suitable for people with walking difficulties (there is a narrow and angular staircase, which is difficult to get up and down)

The pool is open from May to September.

There is NO air conditioning in the apartment, but there is usually not much more than 30 degrees in the summer, as the sea is close by. The warm months are usually July and August. It is usually 17-25 degrees during Easter and autumn holidays.

You must bring your own linen, towels and tea towels, as we have not yet been able to enter into an agreement with a cleaning company that can be responsible for washing the linen we have purchased for the apartment. The linen in the home must therefore not be used!
