The mountains of northern Italy are something very special. In winter it is the perfect place for ski enthusiasts with access to both Madonna di Campiglio and Marilleva, and in summer the beautiful nature is definitely worth a visit. Here you can go on long hikes, river rafts or just enjoy nature.
The property is centrally located in Folgarida with just a few minutes walk to the nearest ski lift that takes you to Marilleva. This ski area is connected to Madonna di Campiglio via ski lift, so you can therefore use both areas, which together have approx. 120 kilometers of piste.
Area
Folgarida is a small town in the Italian Dolomites. The city is located 31/2 hours from the airport of Milan and 11/2 hours from the airport of Bolzano. In the town of Folgarida there are 5 restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, but if you want a slightly larger selection, the town of Dimaro is 15 minutes away by car, and if you want to visit a larger city, the town of Trento is an hour’s drive from Folgarida.
The area around Folgarida is rich in activities both in summer and in winter. In winter, the most obvious is to make use of the many ski resorts, but in summer the area offers activities such as hiking, river rafting and mountain biking. The lifts, which in winter are used to transport skiers up to the slopes, are used in summer to transport people up the mountain where there is ample opportunity for mountain biking and great hiking, or you can enjoy the fantastic view, and the melted snow forms beautiful lakes in the area in the mountains.
IMPORTANT!
The ski season runs from week 50 – week 14. The weeks from autumn holidays until week 50, as well as the spring weeks from Easter until mid-May, are definitely low season, where most activity in the city shuts down completely. You can still book the accommodations if you want to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the silence.
About the apartment
Meledrio 2 is a small home that has been completely renovated and modernized. The apartment can accommodate 6 overnight guests. It has a single bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed on the landing on the first floor and a double bed in the room on the ground floor. To get to the apartment you have to climb many stairs, and therefore it is NOT suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Important information
The home is NOT suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Bookings can only be made starting on Tuesdays or Saturdays, as otherwise we do not have the opportunity to clean the apartment. It is allowed to book from Saturday but arrive on Sunday for example.
Final cleaning costs 180 euros and includes linen and towels. It must be left in cash in the accommodation upon departure. If you want to clean yourself and bring linen and towels, this is possible. When booking, you must choose whether you want cleaning and linen or whether you want to do the cleaning and linen yourself.
We charge DKK 5 per person per day for water consumption. This is added automatically when booking. It is therefore important that you indicate how many people you are on the booking.

Parking: Parking options in the area are limited in high season, here we recommend that you check paid parking spaces before departure. Out of season there are good opportunities for parking right by the stairs up to the apartment.
